We use Batch Solid State Polymerisation (SSP) to increase the molecular weight (Intrinsic Viscosity, IV) of our plastic pellets.
This helps our clients in three main ways:
- No adverse affect on a clients process that could lead to significant reductions in manufacturing downtime whilst allowing for optimum running speeds
- Can be used in conjunction with internally generated waste, therefore, improving overall efficiencies and reducing costs.
- Improved melt strength and end product toughness
When applied to recycled waste, the quality of our final IV pellets is such that clients can use greater percentages of recycled content, reducing the cost and use of virgin material.
